Jeremiah 33:3 - Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.

This is one of my very favorite verses. I am very much a student at heart. I absolutely love to learn and can be voracious when a subject catches my interest.

I'm presently working through a daily bible study and today was asked "What do you enjoy most about God?" I thought for a minute and wrote "you teach me".

Isaiah 28:26 His God instructs him and teaches him the right way.

Psalm 25:4-5 Show me your ways, Lord, teach me your paths.

Guide me in your truth and teach me,

for you are God my Savior,

and my hope is in you all day long.

I have yet to come across a question to which God has answered "you don't get to know that". Undoubtedly, there are things I don't get to know and I have heard Him gently say "I will teach you as much as you can understand" but I have yet to be flat out denied.

I used to want to scream and throw things at my bible class teachers who would say things like "we just have to accept things sometimes". My brain just doesn't work that way. I need answers. Maybe you do too. But it never occurred to me to go to the source, until I was broken enough to let down my guard, scared enough to be blunt and sick to death of good enough.

God has used my daily walks in His word to answer the questions I pose. I feel Him smile over me when I "get" it and I never feel Him tire of my endless questions. You see I want to know that I know Him!

Luke 11:9-10 "So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened."
